They want us to hate ‘the other’.
They want us to practice aggression
and perfect antagonism.
Their aim is to divide us all!
They want us to be inhuman.
They want us to throw out our kindness.
They want us to bury our love
and burn our hope.
Their aim is to take all our light!
They think their bricked walls
will separate us.
They think their damned bombs
will defeat us.
They are so ignorant they don’t understand
that my soul and your soul are old friends.
They are so ignorant they don’t understand
that when they cut you I bleed.
They are so ignorant they don’t understand
that we will never be afraid,
we will never hate
and we will never be silent
for life is ours!

Oh Grandmother Mepi. You have scolded me several times for being to radical. I read this whole blog slowly and carefully…and it spoke to me….. yes…ihear the spirits telling me you are spot on. For I have often wondered why I feel so strongly about ending government corruption…so strongly that I would talk down to others who dont support my beliefs…and I wondered why am I the way I am and deeply believing in mother earth and peaceful harmony….and bearing the blood Of the Cherokee along with Afro American and White…. I often wonder who am I really… all mixed up but always my fight is with evil and darkness from that evil for it would destroy us all. These words you speak have spoken to me…
I think Grandmother Mepi I shall bring myself down from the high horse and walk much more softly that I may bring all the different colors of me forward to guide my brothers and my sisters to the tree of life so that The People will see… Where we go one…we go all.
